Austin’s music scene was once electric, packed with fans eager to discover the next big thing. Times have changed, and the scene has struggled, especially post-COVID. Underground Rising is here to change that.

As the founder of Brit Street Records, my mission is to revive Austin’s underground music culture by giving emerging bands a platform to build their fan base, connect with other musicians, and play in front of new audiences. These showcase events happen multiple times a year across Central Texas, helping bands reach different crowds and grow beyond their local scene.

Bands - Do You Want to Play a Show?

Submit a complete EPK with live performance videos to Manager@BritStreetRecords.com. Submissions missing key details (like social links or video links) will not be considered. Your EPK should showcase your band’s identity and professionalism.

Band Payment Policy:

Band payments will be based on each band's audience contribution. Ticket/door sales will be tracked per band, and payouts will be determined based on the percentage of total sales attributed to your band.

In the past, we split earnings evenly, but we have found that this doesn't fairly reflect the effort put into promoting and bringing an audience. It is important to recognize the bands that actively help make the night a success. This system ensures that everyone is compensated in a way that reflects their contribution.

Unless there is a contract in place between Brit Street Records LLC and your band, this policy will apply to all shows.

We appreciate all the bands that put in the effort to promote and bring their fans, and we look forward to continuing to work with those who are invested in growing our scene together!

Sponsorship & Community Support

Keeping ticket prices low helps build a larger audience, but we need sponsorships make it sustainable. For $100, sponsors get their logo on event posters and social media promotions. Funds help guarantee band payments, provide merch, and expand marketing efforts.

For venues with space, we bring in market vendors to add to the experience and increase traffic.
